Travel Information
Compiègne is ideally located near Paris (~70 km), with easy access by train or car from the capital.
The Roissy/Charles de Gaulle (CDG) International Airport, located north of Paris, is only 40 minutes away.
Many low-cost destinations are available to and from Paris-Beauvais Airport (BVA), which is 45 minutes away.
By Train
- 45 minutes from Gare du Nord, take the train to Compiègne station (on the Paris - Saint-Quentin -
Maubeuge line).
By Plane
- Arrival at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport (the closest): Take the RER B to Gare du
Nord, then take the train to Compiègne (see above). You can also take a taxi directly from Roissy
to Compiègne or hire a car with a driver.
- Arrival at Orly Airport: Take the Orlyval to Antony station, then the RER B to Gare du
Nord. Then take the train to Compiègne (see above).
By Car
- From Paris: Take the A1 highway (towards Lille), exit number 9 (Compiègne Sud).
- From Lille: Take the A1 highway (towards Paris), exit number 10 (Compiègne
Ouest).
